What does summer home from Westminster mean? It means hanging out with your brothers who missed you so much that they need to sleep in your bedroom. It means late nights and late mornings. For one younger brother, it means sharing a bed with the one he looks up to and of course it means Elmo. It means workouts with Jimmy Quinlan, a former teacher and a veteran of the National Lacrosse League. If there is one thing I know, Jimmy will not let Tristan take the easy way out. It means intense mini stick hockey games with our “adopted” son Jeff Bienvenue. It means visits from Grandma, uncles, aunts and cousins. It means quality family time. It will also mean working hockey camps to earn some money to help pay for school. It will also mean more workouts and getting ready to go back to school. With our middle son preparing to go to Cardigan Mountain School, the summer will need to be quality time as we will be a quiet house once September comes. I love the noise the three of them make as they hang out, play, work and just be kids. It definitely is a great time.
